An absolutely stacked lineup has been announced for Force Metal Fest 2018 in Mexico. System of a Down, Slayer, Alice in Chains, Lamb of God and more have been announced to rock the fest in Teotihuacan, near Mexico City.

Force Metal Fest 2018 will take place Oct. 6 and 7 near the Teotihuacan Aztec pyramids, which were constructed in approximately 100 BC. The festival was born in Mexico city in 2012, aiming to provide an alternative to those who couldn’t travel to Guadalajara to attend the Heaven & Hell festival. Along with music, the National Championship of Mixed Martial Arts will be held at the grounds, featuring a Viking Villa and rides.

"This is a family festival, for music lovers, who go because they really know and enjoy the genre, it's a very calm and very orderly audience, we've never had any altercations," says organizer Juan Carlos Guerrero.

Along with a headlining slot from SOAD and likely Slayer’s final Mexican performance, acts like Anthrax, Stone Temple Pilots, Danzig, Carcass, Dee Snider, Carcass, NOFX, Testament and Dark Funeral will perform.
