Sip and Shine Cafe's mission is to serve the special needs community by providing jobs for them.

When you order your latte and your cinnamon roll you will be greeted by some of the most beautiful smiles in the Crossroads. Sip and Shine Cafe is located at Riverside Church, the home of Shine On Special Needs Ministries and now that I've tried it, this will be my go to coffee shop!

Dawn Rivera, whose employees to be quoted think is amazing, leads the Shine On Ministry at Riverside Church, which is what sparked the idea for this one of a kind coffee café in the Crossroads. The money raised at the café goes to host the incredible Night to Shine prom for special need persons in February of every year. 

If you've never heard of Night to Shine, check out this out!

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. On one night, over 700 churches, from around the world, will host Night to Shine for 100,000 honored guests with the support of 200,000 volunteers!
