Put on your garb. Pull that collar up over your nose. Grab your weapon. Its Ninja Time, for today is Day of the Ninja. That's right, December 5th is a day dedicated towards the stealth masters who originated from ancient Japan.

Fun fact: Ninjas did not necessarily wear all black clothing. They were masters of stealth and hiding, and the best way to hide is in plain sight. When infiltrating, they would wear clothes that the locals wore in order to blend in. It was only in movies that all black was popularized as Ninja Attire.

This holiday originates back in 2003 for the release of the Tom Cruse film, The Last Samurai. Granted, that movie isn't about ninjas but it was a good staring point nonetheless for a commemorative holiday for ninjas to be put into place.
