If you're interested in getting into the construction field, Victoria College will be offering some courses that would be a great start.

The college's Workforce and Continuing Education Department will be offering courses including Core Curriculum: Introductory Craft Skills, a prerequisite for all Victoria College Industrial trade training courses. Two of these classes will begin as early as January 3rd and January 4th, and run through January 31st.

Once the Introductory to Craft Skills is completed, students can then take courses ranging from carpentry and drywall to electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, to millwright and pipefitting. These courses will be taught in Victoria, Port Lavaca and Gonzales.
