How To Pay for College? GenTX Event Designed to Help

With the price of higher education rising every year, many students and parents are left wondering whether or not they can afford it without years of debt to follow. That's wha a program called GenTX Way To Pay Day is all about.

Leaders of local schools, businesses and nonprofits want to let high school seniors and their parents know about all their options during the event slated for Thursday (November 17th) from 5-7pm at the UHV University Center at 3007 N. Ben Wilson.

Information on completing college applications, applying for financial aid, and obtaining scholarships will be presented at this free event, which is part of a statewide Generation TX campaign designed to encourage higher education in the state.
