What a weekend for Texas sports. The Houston Astros beat the Cleveland Indians in Game 2 of the ALDS, the Texas Longhorns won the Red River Showdown beating the Oklahoma Sooners by a field goal, and the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys got together to play for bragging rights and the Texans won the game to make it two wins in a row, and what a game it was.

Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins made up for a rare fumble by getting a huge 49-yard catch and run in the overtime period, which put the Texans in position for a game-winning field goal from Ka'imi Fairbairn.

It was a big night for the Texans star receiver, who racked up 151 yards on the night. Quarterback Deshaun Watson also had a big night throwing for 375 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.

On the defensive side of the ball, Houston picked off Cowboys qquarterbackDak Prescott 2 times and held running back Ezekiel Elliott to just 54 yards on the ground. Heading into the game, Elliott was the league-leading rusher.

Next up for the Texans, the Buffalo Bills come to NRG Stadium while the Cowboys welcome the Jacksonville Jaguars to town.
