Got the sniffles? Got a sore throat? Late night coughing keeping you up? Well, don't fret folks because I have the answer to your hacks, your quacks and your sternutations (look it up). They say, "Knowledge is Power" and that is very true. There are several things you can do each day to help stave off the flu before it becomes too much to handle. Here are a few things you can do to help:

1) Clear a stuffy nose with warm salt water - You think that sounds crazy, but the salt breaks down congestion and it also can clear away bacteria formed in your nose.

2) Gargling helps clear your throat - try using a tea that contains tannin (for information on tannin, click here)

3) Elevate your head when sleeping - Try using an additional pillow at night because it will help with clogged nostrils and congestion.
