We're pretty lucky to live in a state that has bucked national unemployment trends for a long time, and according to a recent report, it continues to look positive.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas reports employment rose by around 3.7% in the 4th quarter of 2017 and they say we can expect nearly 3% more growth this year.

According to a published report, Hurricane Harvey recovery spurred an increase in economic activity, and the stat also benefits from oil prices that are above $60 a barrel, an increase in export activity, and optimism in the business world about the growing national economy.
