Everybody knows that Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones has a lot of money at his disposal, and he has made some serious investments in the team. As a result, the Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable professional sports team on the planet.

For the 2nd year in a row, the Cowboys made the top spot in the Forbes Magazine's annual rankings at $4.2 billion, above the 2nd place New York Yankees, and the 3rd place Manchester United Soccer Club. The Yankees are worth a reported $3.7 billion, and Manchester United $3.69 billion.

The Cowboys last playoff win was a wildcard win over the Detroit Lions in 2015. They lost the next weekend's divisional game against the Green Bay Packers.
