Astros Edge Athletics in Dramatic Fashion

The Houston Astros didn't let a loss to the Oakland A's keep them down for very long, coming back in the 9th inning last night to post a nail-biting 10-9 victory at Minute Maid Park.

Luis Valbuena lit the fireworks with a game-winning 3 run homer in the 9th, capping off a night in which he drove in 4 runs. Going into the final inning, the 'Stros had a 3 run lead, but the A's managed to go ahead 9-7, before the home team iced the victory in the bottom of the 9th.

The 47-40 Astros face the A's again today at Minute Maid.
